Library of Congress posts archived videos on YouTube

No longer do we have to sift through databases to find a video that we need.  The Library of Congress has caught up with the times and they now have their own channel on YouTube.

This is significant since those of us who are studying video can now have easier convenient access to viewing videos.  I’m in a video class right now and we look at older movies all the time since they really examined the basic aesthetics to make great movies back then.  This also shows how social media (i.e. YouTube) is improving our lives a little at a time!

Thanks to Mashable for posting the article today on YouTube Goes Old, Old School with Library of Congress.

The Library of Congress also announced it on their own site the exciting news titled YouTube and Now We Do Too.
