NKU has taught me to be a storyteller

This is my farewell in today’s Northerner.

From my first published image of two Phi Sigma Sigma girls holding pumpkin guts at the first Pumpkin Bust in October of 2003 to last week’s nine images of Common Ground’s 2009 Drag Show, NKU has taught me what photojournalism is all about.

I want to thank those teachers that have guided me along the way to be the documentary photographer that I am today.  Being a part of The Northerner over the last six years, I was known by most students to be armed with my camera.

I was ready to take relevant pictures that told a story. I am happy to graduate next week from NKU and continue my career in photojournalism and multimedia reporting. I appreciate faculty, students and the NKU community being there for me on my path through college. To keep track of my photography, go to https://pjbre.wordpress.com.
