About

I am a motivated photojournalist currently based in the Albuquerque area. My day job = a medic in the United States Air Force.

I always look to show a visual story as if the viewer was there with me. I am a photo purist, meaning that I do little to no editing to my photos. That way the photos and stories remain true.

I am a graduate of 2009 with two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Photography and Journalism from Northern Kentucky University. While a student, I was a staff photojournalist at NKU’s student newspaper The Northerner. I am a student member of the National Press Photographers Association (NPPA), Society of Professional Journalists (SPJ), and New Media Cincinnati. Besides photography, I am experienced with Abobe Creative Suite 4 and I am  learning multimedia skills and web design using Adobe Flash. I am available for freelance opportunities with the media outlets and individuals of the public.

This blog is meant to show my current work and projects.  Also, it will discuss my experiences.  It may include current happenings in the world of Photojournalism as well as similar topics such as Photography, Journalism, Media Law, Multimedia, online journalism, multimedia, new media, etc.
